Angelina Jolie’s Semi-Homemade Birthday Cake
Angelina Jolie made her son’s birthday cake with help from a TV show.
The ‘Changeling’ star used a cult cookery show’s recipe to put together a baked treat for her eldest son, eight-year-old Maddox.
Sandra Lee, host of the Food Network’s ‘Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee’, said, “I was really surprised when her friend let me know she made my No Bake birthday cake. She’s a Semi-Homemade mommy just like the rest of us!”
Angelina, who is in talks to star in a biopic of the Gucci fashion house, used the time-saving recipe for Maddox’s birthday in August.
The cake is made from a putting pre-bought sponge cakes together and adding cupcakes and cookies.
Sandra added, “I’m very proud not just that she made my cake but that someone of her stature isn’t delegating these tasks to other people.”
Angelina, 34, raises five other children – son Pax, five, daughter Zahara, four, three-year-old daughter Shiloh and 15-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne – with her partner Brad Pitt.
