Kelly Clarkson is engaged, and it took mere hours after the announcement for the star to reveal her new engagement ring.

The 30-year-old singer broke the big news on Saturday night and by Sunday morning had tweeted a picture of the mammoth sparkler that now sits on her wedding finger. Alongside the photo, Clarkson wrote:

“Everyone has been asking about my engagement ring, so here it is It’s a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Jonathan Arndt! They did an amazing job! I can’t wait to make Brandon’s ring with Jonathon as well!”

On Saturday, Clarkson had told her 2.4 million Twitter followers:

“I’M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever:)”

That man is Brandon Blackstock, the son of Clarkson’s talent manager. Blackstock dropped to one knee to propose on Friday night.

Clarkson and Blackstock began dating in February 2012. Speaking to The Daily Mail in May 2012, Clarkson discussed how she and Blackstock got together:

“Brandon is my manager’s son. I’ve known him for six years but he was married. Then, suddenly, there he was at the Super Bowl and he was single.”

And now, just ten short months later, Blackstock and Kelly Clarkson are engaged. Our congratulations to the pair!
