Miley Cyrus grabbed her crotch on stage while performing at the VH1 Divas concert on Sunday evening. Cyrus was adorned in a dominatrix looking get-up, complete with plenty of dangling chains and spiked adornments.

Cyrus has most definitely shed her fresh-faced Hannah Montana image. The public persona transformation appears to have begun with the nearly shaved head hairstyle. The 20-year-old singer belted out Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell” hit from 1983, E! Online notes.

Hopefully the audience went unscathed when Miley crowd surfed her way onto the stage. Her fiancé Liam Hemsworth has remained largely silent about his lady love’s new look. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Hemsworth allegedly got into a brawl outside a bar last week when a man supposedly threw a rock and the actor and his pal.

Miley Cyrus appeared to be enjoying headbanging her way to the stage in her midriff-exposing little outfit. The VH1 Divas appearance was perhaps slightly tamer than singer’s performance at the Christmas Creampies concert in Hollywood last week, if New York Daily News assessments are accurate. During the holiday event Cyrus did not spare the cleavage and shared the stage with both DJ Borgore and a stripper.

Despite her PG13 punk rock style recent performances, Miley Cyrus apparently still has soft side. On Sunday the former Hannah Montana star posted this on Twitter:

“Feeling connected to my baby girl Lila after tonight. I know she’s up in doggy heaven proud of her mommy for staying strong.”

The VH1 Divas concert was held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and included some of the top names in the entertainment, according to the Huffington Post. Some of the stars who appeared at the event include Kelly Rowland, PItbull, Nene Leakes, Adam Lambert and Ciara.
