Massive Volleyball Spike Leaves Three Men With Bruises [Video]

Volleyball is a brutal sport that can leave players with bruises, bumps, scrapes, and even the occasional concussion. Sure, “brutal” and “volleyball” do not normally share a sentence together, but every now and again a video surfaces that shows just how crazy the sport can become.

The video titled “triple six pack” gives new meaning to “volleyball spike.”

In volleyball, a “six pack” occurs when a player is smacked right in the face with a ball. As the title of this video suggests, a triple six pack occurs when three men are hit in the face with the same volleyball spike.

Watch closely (not pictured) as the ball smacks one guy in the face, crashes into another guy’s head, and then takes out another player.

Adding insult to injury, the assaulted team lost a point on the play.

In proof once again that YouTube users love to watch people in pain, the video has received more than 600,000 pageviews since being uploaded on December 10.
