Magnitude 6.2 Quake Strikes Afghanistan, Pakistan

Kabul, Afghanistan (AHN) – An earthquake measuring 6.2 magnitude struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan at12:21 local time on Friday. There were no immediate reports of damage and casualty.
The quake was felt in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province and Punjab state. It was also felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Mansehra, Peshawar and the Khyber Agency.
The U.S. Geological Survey traced the epicenter of the earthquake 165 miles northeast of the Afghanistan capital of Kabul and 122 miles deep.
