‘A Good Day To Die Hard’ Gets A New Poster, Featurette [Photo & Video]


Director John Moore’s upcoming action flick A Good Day to Die Hard has received a brand new poster, according to Collider.

Detective John McClane’s latest cinematic adventure finds the cop from New York traveling all the way across the pond to Russia in order to battle an array of bad guys. To prepare the world for the upcoming endeavor, a new one sheet has been released online.

The folks at Entertainment Weekly were the first to get their hands on the poster, which finds Bruce Willis standing side by side with his gun-totting on-screen son Jai Courtney.

The official plot synopsis reads as follows:

“Iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane for the first time finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack — unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.”

For those moviegoers who love watching things explode on the big screen, A Good Day to Die Hard will be formatted for maximum IMAX enjoyment.

In addition to the aforementioned poster, the promotional team behind the forthcoming sequel have unleashed a brand new featurette. The clip finds Courtney introducing prospective viewers to his character Jack McClane. While the embedded video might be short, it gives fans of the series a bit of information regarding the iconic detective’s offspring.

In addition to Willis and Courtney, the film also features the talents of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Amaury Nolasco, Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Aksel Hennie, and Julia Snigir. The film is currently scheduled for release in the US on February 14, 2013.
