Trespasser Arrested With Knife At Taylor Swift’s Property

Nashville, TN — There was a bit of commotion over at Taylor Swift’s residence in Tennessee late last night. According to reports from an affidavit, a man was arrested for trespassing at Swift’s Nashville home. The man in question has been identified as 24-year-old Jacob Kulke.

Not only did he trespass Swift’s home, but at the time of his arrest he had a knife on him. Kulke was aware that he was trespassing Swift’s residence in Nashville, and had planned to for some time. Reports have stated that after he scaled the fence and was subsequently confronted by security, Kulke said he obtained the homeowner’s address through social networking. He then professed that he was dating her, and wanted to surprise her for her birthday. Taylor Swift celebrated her birthday on Thursday.

As more details are released, the trespasser’s intentions are obvious. Kulke isn’t even from Nashville, and apparently the man took a bus from his hometown in Wisconsin, followed by a taxi from a Nashville bus stop to see Swift for her birthday. According to reports by IT personnel it was confirmed that there was no social media correspondence between the two. However, NewsChannel 5 has confirmed that Kulke did wish Swift a “Happy Birthday” on Thursday through Twitter.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, Swift complained about her problems with stalkers, having said:”Over the past couple of years it’s got worse. I get told if there’s been an attempt or a threat. My security text me a picture and say, ‘Look out for this dude; he’s driven across the country, he’s off his meds,’ or something like that. No one has ever been successful in getting into my house or anything like that. I have an amazing security team.”

According to TMZ, Kulke isn’t just an innocent obsessed fan, and actually has a criminal past. Kulke has been convicted of battery, disorderly conduct, and drug possession in Wisconsin from 2010. Apparently, he was placed in 13 months probation. In addition, Kulke had been arrested for second degree burglary in Colorado, and there’s currently a warrant out for his arrest.

Kulke was held at Davidson County jail on a $10,000 bond.
