Jennifer Lopez Has Reportedly Hired A Private Investigator To Keep Tabs On A-Rod
Jennifer Lopez might be taking her role as NYPD detective Harlee Santos a little too seriously. The Shades of Blue star has reportedly hired a private investigator to keep tabs on her man, Alex Rodriguez. Why doesn’t Lopez trust the former MLB star?
A source told Us Magazine that Lopez was worried that Rodriguez was cheating on her and so she hired an investigator to find out. Once A-Rod discovered he was being tailed, the two had a massive fight. Fortunately, it sounds like they were able to talk things through and have not parted ways.
“He found out, and they had a huge fight,” the source shared. “But they’re working through it.”
The cheating rumors first surfaced last month when Rodriguez allegedly hooked up with his former romance, Lauren Hunter. It is not clear what the investigator dug up or whether or not Lopez called him off, but the actress is reportedly determined to make their relationship work.
Lopez recently opened up about her relationship with the former Yankees star and couldn’t help but gush over him. Not only did she say that Rodriguez is a great guy, but she also revealed that he’s great with his daughters, Natasha and Ella. Rodriguez shares the girls with his ex, Cynthia Scurtis.
Rodriguez echoed Lopez’s comments and said their burgeoning relationship is going great. He also called Jennifer Lopez one of the brightest people he has ever known and praised her skills as a mom. Lopez had twins, Emme and Max, with Marc Anthony nine years ago.
“He’s a generous human being with his family, with his friends, with me,” Lopez stated. “He’s caring and sweet and capable and responsible and just all the beautiful things you would want a man to be. I feel really lucky right now, so I’m excited about life, but I’m more excited for people to get to see who he really is.”
Lopez and Rodriguez have not commented on the reports about the private investigator. While we wait to see what happens, Hollywood Life reports that Lopez recently displayed her toned bikini body on social media. The star shared a photo of herself in a black bikini lounging in Miami, though it still isn’t known when the image was taken.
Although her relationship with Rodriguez might be on the fritz, Lopez is working on a number of exciting upcoming projects, including performing in next year’s Super Bowl halftime show. Lopez is also working on the new season of Shades of Blue, is judging for the World of Dance, and just released a new music video for the track, “Ni Tu Ni Yo.”
