Rachel Lindsay In Wedding Planning Mode? ‘The Bachelorette’ Star Could Walk Down Aisle Before Kaitlyn Or JoJo

On TV, The Bachelorette hasn’t even received a marriage proposal a yet, but in real life, Rachel Lindsay is ready to say “I do” to the man she picked as her Prince Charming. Rachel’s journey to find love on the ABC reality show is nearing its end, and the 33-year-old Dallas attorney has been vocal about the fact that she ended her stint with a proposal and some Neil Lane bling. Now, the happily engaged Rachel Lindsay tells E! News she plans to tie the knot with her man “sooner than later.”

While Lindsay admits she hasn’t actually talked about an actual wedding date with her fiancé because they want to get to know each other in the real world first, she already has a timeframe in mind. And it sounds like Rachel’s wedding could happen before past Bachelorette stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and JoJo Fletcher exchange vows with their fiancés. Kaitlyn has been engaged to Shawn Booth since 2015 and JoJo Fletcher accepted a proposal from Jordan Rodgers last year, but neither former Bachelorette has moved forward with wedding plans. Rachel, on the other hand, sounds ready to get her Bachelorette party started.

“I’m thinking maybe next year, the end of next year maybe,” Rachel said of her future walk down the aisle. “We’re not rushing it but sooner than later.”

Rachel admitted she may need some help from a wedding planner when it comes to nailing down the details of her big day. Rachel told E! News that she has never been the type of girl to plan her wedding or pick out her dream dress. Rachel admitted she is way more interested in the party part of the celebration, which will undoubtedly include some of her newfound friends from The Bachelor franchise.

“I’m like what are we going to do for the party?” Rachel revealed.

“What kind of music are we going to have? Who’s going to be there? Where’s it going to be?”

While Bachelorette fans will have to wait a few weeks to find out the identity of Rachel Lindsay’s final guy, the ABC reality star told E! she “definitely found love and not in a hopeless place.”

On the next episode of The Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay will journey to the hometowns of her final four guys—Bryan Abasolo, Eric Bigger, Peter Kraus, and Dean Unglert. But at some point, at least one of them asked for Rachel’s hand in marriage.

“He asked my parents, he got down on one knee — yes, all the traditional things happened,” Lindsay told Extra of her mystery Bachelorette fiancé.

Rachel also revealed that she will probably have a supersized wedding and she’s not opposed to doing it in front of ABC’s cameras.

“I have a huge family and I want everyone to come,” Rachel said.

“I wouldn’t throw [the idea of a televised wedding] out. I am willing to do it.”

It will be surprising if Rachel Lindsay doesn’t have her wedding on TV. The Bachelorette beauty has been a franchise favorite, and she made history as the show’s first-ever African American star. Fans will surely want to follow her journey all the way to its fairy tale end with that walk down the aisle. Stay tuned.
