Miley Cyrus Ditched Her Wild Ways For Liam Hemsworth? ‘I Did Feel Sexualized’

Miley Cyrus has reinvented her image from a sweet teen star to a raunchy pop star, but it seems that she’s ditching her wild ways for Liam Hemsworth. The two fell in love on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and got engaged in 2012. But they broke up a year later and that’s when she started exploring her sexuality and doing some crazy stuff. However, the 24-year-old singer began to tone down her look after reconciling with the 27-year-old actor in 2015.

During an interview with Harpers Bazaar, Miley revealed the reason why she constantly changed her look and talked about other people’s perception of her. The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker was aware that there were people who were shocked by some of the things she did during her twerking period. However, she pointed out that what’s more shocking was being told what to wear by a group of mostly older men and putting on a wig and makeup when she was just around 11- or 12-years-old.

Miley Cyrus reportedly does her own makeup for her recent shoots. She claimed that her over-the-top persona had already served its purpose. The songstress refused to show up to photo shoots and show off her tits and stick out her tongue just like what was expected from her.

“In the beginning, it was kind of like saying, ‘F**k you. Girls should be able to have this freedom or whatever.’ But it got to a point where I did feel sexualized.”

The award-winning singer pointed out that it is more punk for her not to show off her boobs and a** at the Met Gala because everyone else is doing it. Aside from changing her looks, Cyrus also decided to stop smoking marijuana because she wanted to be clean. However, she quoted Justin Bieber by saying, “Never say never,” which means there is still a chance she’ll smoke pot again but not for now.

“I think I show people that they can be themselves,” she said. “I also think something that has been important for me, in this next little, like, transition phase of my career is that I don’t give a f**k about being cool. I just want to be myself.”

Miley Cyrus’ transformation must have made Liam Hemsworth fall for her more. On his latest Instagram post, he called his girlfriend an angel.

During an interview with Men’s Fitness, Liam confirmed that his love for Miley is real. He claimed that people fall in love with who they fall in love with and that they can never choose. Despite his girlfriend’s sudden change in appearance and lifestyle, the Aussie heartthrob still cares for her. He described her as a young girl with a free spirit and would do what she wants to do.

“I mean, look—we were together five years, so I don’t think those feelings will ever change. And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn’t just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be.”

According to US magazine, Miley Cyrus revealed that the split with Liam Hemsworth had to happen because she couldn’t change with someone who is not changing like she does. After her evolution, the exes reportedly had to re-fall for each other and are now happy in their relationship.
