Disgraced Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller reportedly came to prison crying when she self-surrendered at FCI Victorville on Wednesday around noon.
Holli Coulman, who was recently released from the facility and still in touch with members on the inside, said that Abby Lee Miller was beside herself when she entered the facility to serve her 366-day sentence for bankruptcy fraud.
Coulman also offered some interesting insight into Abby Lee Miller’s current psyche.
“From what I am hearing, Abby is bat s**t beside herself.”
It was reported that when Abby Lee Miller entered the facility, for security purposes, email and phones were turned off until 7pm, which made many of the inmates angry. For that, she has reportedly already made several enemies amongst the women on the inside.
Coulman is also certain that Abby Lee Miller will get a job assignment in the kitchen, which is reportedly one of the better jobs for inmates to have.
Abby Lee Miller received pre-prison sessions in order to help her cope while on the inside. Those she hired told her that it was better to try and get a job as cook, cosmetologist or in the accounting department. Considering her arrest for bankruptcy fraud, it is doubtful she’ll be assigned to the latter.
The former Dance Moms star has previously stated that she wants to use prison as a time to reflect and actually do things for herself. According to Abby Lee Miller, she has been busy taking care of other people’s kids for so long that she hasn’t had much time for herself.
However, it may be a pipe dream for her to actually have “me time” in prison, as it is almost certain that she will be assigned a low-paying job that she will have to work most days of the week. Reportedly, inmates make a maximum of $5.25 a month with their jobs.
One thing is certain: Abby Lee Miller will emerge from prison looking totally different. The star underwent gastric bypass surgery just a few weeks before she went into prison and the weight has been slowly melting off of the star.
