The new parents enjoy their first night out
Beyonce has actually already made her first public appearance since giving birth to her and Jay Z’s twins, Sir and Rumi Carter. The Lemonade songstress quietly snuck into the back of Vic Mensa’s listening party for her debut album, The Autobiography, in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
Early Friday morning, around 1 a.m. EST, Beyonce finally broke her silence since giving birth. Rumi and Sir Carter were born on June 14, and rumors about the celebrities’ new children have been swirling ever since.
Jay Z released his album, 4:44, a few weeks after the twins were born, but other than that, the power couple remained tight-lipped to the public throughout the first month.
Beyonce created a frenzy online, instantly garnering over a million likes, after posting the artistic photograph of her new babies on Instagram. The new image, which was the first post she had published since May 30.
Just before the “Sorry” singer surprised the world with the photo of her newborn twins, she and Jay Z made a low key appearance in Los Angeles.

Eyewitnesses told E! News that the couple was standing in the roped off VIP section, dancing in place, and enjoying each other’s company while listening to Vic Mensa’s new album. The party was held at Mack Sennett Studios.
“She really did seem to be having a good time dancing in place [and] affectionate with Jay.”
Beyonce and Jay Z almost made it through the night without being photographed but someone caught a snap of the two standing in the back of the room.

The Instagram image, that credited Sir and Rumi Carter for being one-month old on Thursday, July 14, looked similar to the photograph that the singer shared when she announced her pregnancy back in February.
Beyonce stood draped in patterned material holding her baby boy and girl with a light blue veil over her head and an arch of flowers in the background. The new mom looked radiant and wore minimal makeup with her wavy blonde tresses natural and loose.
