The actress, who is preparing for the role of Mera in the upcoming Aquaman movie, has been mentioned in a case involving the 54-year-old actor. In fact, it looks like she may play a role in deciding the fate of his net worth!

Currently, the 31-year-old actress is splitting her time between Northern and Southern California so that she can be with her boyfriend, Elon Musk. Although she seems to be “in good spirits” for the most part, there are things brewing in the courtroom that involve Johnny Depp.

“In court papers filed this week, it was revealed that the 54-year-old’s former management team ‘knew he abused his ex-wife’ and they were aware that he had ‘sometimes gotten physical’ with her,” reports the Daily Mail.

This case that Johnny Depp is embroiled in is actually started by the movie star himself. He sued his business managers, Robert and Joel Mandel, and their firm for mismanaging his funds. They are fighting back, saying that the root of the problem is the actor’s “extravagant spending.” It also looks like they are using his tendencies towards his ex-wife to weaken his claim.

Wherever the fault may lie, this case shows that the Pirates of the Caribbean star is having a hard time managing his net worth. It took a toll when Amber Heard got $7 million for the settlement. According to Heavy, his net worth is up to $200 million.

But that seems like a small amount compared to what Elon Musk, Amber’s new boyfriend, is worth. According to Forbes, he is one of the richest men on Earth, his net worth coming in around $2.4 billion. And he is also more than a decade younger than Johnny.
