Rebecca Lynn Shadle: Woman Let Men Kiss, Sexually Molest 7-Year-Old Girl In Exchange For $60, Police Say
Rebecca Lynn Shadle allowed at least two men to kiss and fondle a 7-year-old girl under her care in exchange for $60, police in Pennsylvania claim.
The 38-year-old woman was arrested this week after police say she admitted that she let two men kiss and touch the young girl. Shadle had been arrested on charges of prostitution and told investigators that she had sex with the men in her apartment in exchange for cash, TribLive reported. But as police received an anonymous tip through a child abuse line and interviewed the victim this week, they learned of allegations that Shadle also let the men kiss and molest the young girl under her care.
Rebecca Lynn Shadle told police that she was drunk at the time of the assault and needed the money. She also claimed during an arraignment that she was fearful for her life, but did not elaborate as to why.
One of the men accused of molesting the young girl was identified as 49-year-old Brian Spillar, the Associated Press reported. He was reportedly awaiting arraignment on charges including aggravated indecent assault. The other man involved in the assault was identified as “Greg,” TribLive reported. Police are still trying to determine that man’s identity, and determine whether a third man also may have assaulted the young girl.
The news outlets did not identify whether the 7-year-old girl was Shadle’s daughter or if the two had some other relationship. The girl was not identified by name in reports, which is standard for underage victims of alleged sexual abuse.

Rebecca Lynn Shadle said during her arraignment that she is a recovering alcoholic and that her children were removed from her care six months ago after she overdosed on heroin and had to be revived. TribLive reported that police are investigating whether the 3-year-old under Shadle’s care may have been molested as well.

The woman told a judge that she had an upcoming meeting with an alcohol rehabilitation case worker and asked that she be kept out of jail, but the judge had other ideas. Rebecca Lynn Shadle remains in jail on $100,000 bond. She faces charges of patronizing a victim of sexual servitude, aggravated indecent assault of a child, sexual exploitation of a child, child endangerment, and corruption of minors.
