‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Reunion: New Details Revealed, Including A Premiere Date
The cast of Jersey Shore is back together in New Jersey and according to a new report, a reunion special is set to air in August.
While MTV has not yet confirmed or denied their involvement with the allegedly upcoming Jersey Shore reunion show, a new report claims fans will soon be reunited with the cast on an unnamed cable network sometime next month.
According to a July 13 report by TMZ, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Nicole Cortese, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, and Ronnie Magro have been busy filming a special in recent weeks that will reveal how Jersey Shore has impacted their lives.
The cast will also reveal where they are now.
“The [Jersey Shore] reunion is not a full series pickup — either a one-time special or just a couple episodes — and will have a documentary feel,” the outlet explained to readers on Thursday.
According to TMZ, the Jersey Shore reunion special will be the first reunion show of many that will bring former reality casts back together years after their show initially aired.
Jersey Shore began airing in 2009 and continued to be seen on MTV until the end of 2012.
In recent weeks, the cast of Jersey Shore has shared tons of photos and video footage of their time together on social media and in on recent video, as the Inquisitr previously reported, the cast of the show was seen enjoying a meal together with Sorrentino’s longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce.
According to another report, shared by People magazine earlier this week, city officials have confirmed that Bright Road Productions applied for filming permits in Asbury Park, New Jersey under the name “Roadtrip Reunion.”
The Asbury Park Press was first to share news of the Jersey Shore cast’s return to the Jersey Shore, claiming that the group had been spotted filming in Point Pleasant Beach. According to the outlet, the Jersey Shore cast enjoyed a dinner date at Jenkinson’s Pavilion Restaurant last month and were also seen playing games at the boardwalk.
In addition to their sightings in New Jersey, the ladies of the Jersey Shore cast also seemed to travel with one another to New York City and were seen having a meal together at a STK Restaurant.
