Taraji P. Henson Claps Back At Body Shaming Hater With The Most Epic Shade
Taraji P. Henson is famous for playing the super sassy Cookie Lyon on Fox’s Empire, but it looks like some of that fierceness has now rubbed off on her in real life.
The actress confirmed that she’s most definitely got a whole lot of sass of her own on Instagram this week when she hit back at a troll with some seriously epic shade after they attempted to body shame her for having natural breasts.
The drama all went down on Taraji’s Instagram page after she posted a selfie of herself in character as the infamous Empire matriarch on July 11 and confirmed that she’s back to work filming for Season 4 of the drama, which is set to return to screens in September.
“Your favorite #Cookie is back like chiroPRACtic!!! #EmpireSeason4,” Henson captioned the photo, which showed her decked out in her Cookie Lyon best as she was sporting a plunging shiny white and gold dress and dripping in jewels.
But it turns out one social media troll wasn’t the biggest fan of Taraji’s plunging neckline.
According to a screen shot captured by The Shade Room, Instagram user @jerrynat attempted to body shame Henson by commenting on the photo, “Saggy.” The remark was seemingly a diss aimed at her natural breasts which the star was showing off in her Cookie costume.
That’s when Taraji unleashed some serious sass and shade in the hater’s direction, hitting back by scathingly responding, “Like your balls,” alongside a pondering emoji.
Fans were quick to praise the star for standing up for herself and hitting back at the hater in the image’s comments, making it pretty clear that they were standing behind Taraji and were loving the major shade she threw on the social media site via her very sassy clap back.
“Cyber bullies are getting old…. Learn to love instead of hating around, she’s perfect like that. She’s #cookielion,” Instagram user @quinbee_ wrote in support of the star after she called out the hater in a pretty major way.
“Why are we as people so mean and quick to say nasty stuff about others?” @mzronnie_angel33 then added after seeing the troll’s comments about Henson’s body. “Taraji you are gorgeous and nothing on you is fake, so to hell with haters.”
Henson has always made it clear that her body is very much natural in the past and has clapped back at body shamers more than once.
Back in 2015 Taraji slammed talk show host Wendy Williams after she suggested on her daytime show The Wendy Williams Show that she may have gotten butt injections to enhance her derriere.
“Tell your producer guy that those #CookieCakes are ALL ME baby,” the Empire star hit back on Instagram two years ago alongside a screen shot of Williams discussing her body on her show.
“EVERYBODY AIN’T GETTING A** SHOTS!!!” Henson continued in the caption. “I don’t need them!”
Taraji was also quick to throw some major shade once again earlier this year after she took sides in Nicki Minaj’s beef drama with fellow rapper Remy Ma.
