Philomena Palestini: Missing Beauty Vanishes Without A Trace, Connecticut Boyfriend ‘Had A Bad Feeling’
Philomena Palestini, of Manchester, disappeared six days ago. Now Connecticut authorities are looking for answers, according to the Manchester Police Department. Philomena “Phillie” Palestini was headed to Hartford, Connecticut. However, no one has seen or heard from her since. Authorities have not said if they believe foul play is involved. Update: Philomena Palestini has been found safe. She is back home with her family.
Where Is Philomena?
Originally from Portland, Maine, Philomena Palestini attended Tunxis Community College and worked as a manager at Teen Scene Consignment. She hopes to become a substance abuse counselor. Philomena Palestini does not have any children.
Philomena’s Aunt Caroline DiSanto told Inquisitr that her niece has a “heart of gold.” She is also described as a loving and caring person with “charm and charisma.” Philomena is very special to her family, and they are heartbroken over her disappearance.
The 34-year-old former administrative assistant was last seen by her boyfriend on Thursday, July 6, two days after the Fourth of July holiday. Philomena Palestini also spoke with her Aunt Caroline by text one last time. Jamar Smith reported her missing days later.
All attempts to communicate with Philomena by phone since that time have been unsuccessful, and it appears that her phone is no longer on.
Family members became increasingly worried when she didn’t show up to her destination in Hartford. Philomena Palestini normally speaks to a family member every day.
What is most important to relatives right now is getting the information about their missing loved one out there, hoping that along the way, they will find some leads.
They also want Philomena’s disappearance to be taken seriously by authorities. It is unlike the pretty Italian-American woman to stop communicating all of a sudden, DiSanto told Inquisitr.
Missing Connecticut Woman’s Boyfriend Had A Bad Feeling About Her Leaving
According to boyfriend Jamal Smith, he has been helping Philomena since a car accident left her badly injured. He felt it was his duty to make sure she had everything she needed. The last time he saw her, she was anxious to leave the house. Smith told Inquisitr the following.
“She didn’t want to be cooped up all day. She wanted to get out of the house.”
Jamal said when Philomena Palestini left walking toward the bus station, he noticed the bus she was planning to ride was headed in the opposite direction from where she told him she was going. Puzzled, Jamal says he asked Philomena where she was going again and then informed her she was about to take the wrong bus. He says he wonders if it is possible she ended up taking the other route after he left.
The distraught boyfriend was expecting a call from her once she reached her destination. When she didn’t call, he said Philomena’s friend told him she never arrived.
Jamal described Philomena as a creative and intelligent woman, and even though they were separated, he still visited the home several times a week to be with her.
Jamal Smith told Inquisitr he had a bad feeling about her leaving. He says the feeling was so strong that he begged Philomena to stay.
“This is the most grueling experience of my life. I pray she’s found,” Jamal said.

Philomena Palestini was last seen wearing black legging pants, a gray tank top, and black and pink-colored sneakers. According to the Hartford Courant, Philomena stands five feet, four inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. She has brown eyes and long brown hair.
