‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Jenelle Evans: ‘I Almost Died’ From Heroin Overdose
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is opening up about one of the lowest points in her life, and the details are shocking. The mother of three recently revealed in a new interview with E! News that she believes her rock bottom was using heroin, which she claims nearly took her life.
Jenelle Evans reveals she and her ex-boyfriend Kieffer Delp would use heroin together and that she nearly overdosed and died during one drug binge. The Teen Mom 2 star claims that when she started to experience withdrawal from the drug, she finally realized she did not want to live the life of an addict and knew she had to get herself some serious help.
Jenelle says that she first started using drugs as a way to escape from her problems. As many Teen Mom 2 fans know, Evans has a long history of drug use, legal problems, and a damaged relationship with her mother, Barbara, who currently has custody of her oldest son, Jace. Jenelle has been fighting to get full custody of her first-born child back for years now, and although she and her mother recently went to court, she was not awarded custody.
Since her days of drug use and arrests, Jenelle Evans has cleaned up her life. She is clean and sober and has a new man in her life, David Eason. Jenelle and David are currently engaged and planning to get married this fall. The couple are dedicated to raising their blended family together, which includes Evans’ sons, Jace and Kaiser, and David’s two children from previous relationships. The pair also share one child together, daughter Ensley, who was born earlier this year.
The couple have been busy raising their big brood and building their dream house together. Jenelle Evans seems to finally have all the pieces of her life in order, except for the fact that she is still fighting for custody of Jace, which she says she will continue to do until she finally gets her son back home with her where he belongs.
