Kenya Moore Married For Money? Rumors Swirl As She Reportedly Negotiates Contract For ‘RHOA’ Season 10
Is Kenya Moore using her secret wedding to Marc Daly as a bargaining chip with Bravo TV?
According to a new report, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is currently negotiating her potential return to the show for Season 10, but as Radar Online explained, her days on the popular series may be numbered.
On July 10, a source told Radar Online that Kenya Moore was going back and forth with Bravo TV producers about sharing her marriage on The Real Housewives of Atlanta when the show returns to the network later this year. As the insider explained, Kenya Moore is reportedly attempting to use her relationship with Daly as leverage during the ongoing negotiations.
“The network feels as though she’s using this as a tactic to get her salary in the same ballpark as [NeNe Leakes],” the source explained.
According to the report, Kenya Moore has been faced with the returns of original cast members NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak and reportedly feels grossly underpaid for her role on the show. Although Bravo TV has not confirmed what the women are being paid, the outlet claimed Leakes was getting a whopping $2 million for her full-time role on the show, while Zolciak will only be seen in a guest-starring role as she continues to film her spin-off series, Don’t Be Tardy.
The insider went on to claim that Kenya Moore didn’t have a compelling storyline to bring to the table prior to her wedding, but now that she is a married woman, she is reportedly hoping for a substantial pay raise.
According to Radar Online, Kenya Moore may be hoping for a raise but she could actually be fired. As the source noted, Moore has reportedly been on the chopping block since secretly tying the knot several weeks ago.
Although Kenya Moore has reportedly offered to film a second wedding for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the gesture hasn’t yet been enough to establish her Season 10 position.
Kenya Moore tied the knot with Marc Daly in St. Lucia in early June. However, according to Radar Online, Daly doesn’t have any interest in joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, no matter what his new wife may be paid.
