Murphy told fans via Twitter that he would be dropping the title of American Horror Story Season 7 on Thursday, July 20, and after the fans get all the information, it would “make sense.”

“Wait a minute…you want the main title sequence to return this year?!”

As far as Season 7 goes, not much is known at this point. Some cast members have been confirmed. Actors Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, and Colton Haynes have all been named to the cast, as well as actresses Sarah Paulson, Adina Porter, Alison Pill, Leslie Grossman, and Billie Lourd. While rumors of Lady Gaga returning have been circulating online, American Horror Story sources claim that the singer will not have a role in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, actress Vera Farmiga has also been rumored to be joining the cast, and fans are hoping that the gossip is true. The former Bates Motel star is beloved by many horror fans and adding her to the AHS cast seems like a smart move to many viewers.
