Canon EOS-1D Mark IV With HD Video Recording To Debut In December

The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV was officially announced today and comes with the type of features we’d expect to see on a $4,999 professional powerhouse.
The camera starts out with a 16.1 megapixel APS-H CMOS sensor, offers an ISO range of 100 to 12,800 native and up to 102,400. The camera also features 45-point area customizable autofocus, which comes equipped with 39 high-precision cross-type focusing points, dual Digic 4 proocessors and even recording in 1080p HD video.
The Mark IV also offers an available WFT-E2 IAA wireless file transmitter and connects via WiFi 801.11a/b/g and if you choose through an ethernet port connection.
The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV will launch sometime in December with a “body-only” price of $4,999. [SlipperyBrick]
