‘RHOA’ Kim Zolciak-Biermann Asks Fans To Buy Her Used Boat Due To Alleged Money Woes
Real Housewives of Atlanta Kim Zolciak-Biermann wouldn’t be the first person on reality television to have financial problems, but it’s odd that a reality television star would be so bold as to post personal items on their social media accounts for fans to buy. Just today, Kim has posted a boat she says is in storage and is a “killer deal” as it was only used once for a short trip. Zolciak-Biermann and her husband, Kroy Biermann, are selling a 2012 Cobalt 302 and asking $170,000 for the boat and trailer. They are asking to hear from “serious inquiries only.” While some sources are saying that the boat sale is in reaction to a lawsuit for an unpaid decorator’s bill, others think there must be more to it, as Kim has also agreed to return to RHOA.
In the last month or two, Zolciak-Biermann has exhibited odd behavior on social media, including a conversation on Twitter with Chrissy Teigen in which Kim asked Teigen who her daughter Brielle, 20, could “blow” in order to meet Teigen’s husband John Legend when he came to Atlanta for a concert appearance. Teigen said she could hook Kim up without anyone having to go so far as to offer oral sex.
“Plz don’t blow anyone it’s not that good of a show. Jk it’s good but I’ll get you tix without the oral.”
While some are claiming that the lawsuit filed against RHOA couple Kim Zolciak-Biermann and husband Kroy by a decorator is the reason Kim is offering their boat for sale, others say that makes no sense. The lawsuit is only over $6,000, and the couple is asking $170,000 for the boat. After several seasons away from Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kim Zolciak-Biermann has agreed to return for the upcoming season, again sparking rumors of money trouble. Kim has hinted publicly that the money is a plus.
“Everything has a price. I’m just giving it to you straight. Given the right amount of money for anything? Yeah, count me in. I like to work. I have six children to support, so for sure!”
Kim first started talking frankly and publicly about money after her husband Kroy Biermann, 31, was cut from his NFL team, the Buffalo Bills, last October, causing her to rethink her own professional status and how the two would support their children.

RHOA fans initially started expressing suspicion that something was up when Zolciak-Biermann announced her return to the Atlanta Real Housewives franchise after saying that she would never return to the show. Kim has faced a great deal of criticism lately when she posted several bikini selfies on Instagram while her son was recovering in the hospital from a serious dog bite.
The posting of the boat for sale might not have sparked concern by itself, but it gives validation to the rumors that Kim’s family is under some financial stress and is being forced to liquidate some assets. Kim, Kroy, and family have lived a fairly lush lifestyle up until now, but with the loss of the money from Kroy’s NFL career, it sounds like someone has to return to work to improve cash flow, and even Kim has remarked that the Real Housewives gig “can’t last forever.”
