Ellen Degeneres And Wife Portia De Rossi Reportedly Used Pot To Save Their Marriage Amid Divorce Reports?
Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi have been facing divorce rumors for months, but according to a new report, the couple has allegedly found a potential solution to their reported marital strife.
According to a Radar Online source, Degeneres and De Rossi recently endured a tense night with one another that allegedly resulted in a pot-smoking adventure between the couple and their guests.
As the outlet claimed, Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi hosted a fancy catered event at their Los Angeles home, and sadly, the alleged bash quickly led to arguing and yelling between them. Then, after reportedly shocking their many guests with their behavior, Degeneres and De Rossi allegedly got to a better place with one another with the help of some pot.
“Ellen and Portia were carrying on like a couple of happy high schoolers,” the insider claimed.
As the Radar Online insider explained, De Rossi sneaked off to a bedroom during the party and allegedly returned with a lit joint for herself and her comedian wife. Then, in the moments that followed, what was allegedly a very awkward night turned into a laid-back gathering among friends.
According to the report, Ellen Degeneres’ allegedly boozy behavior had reportedly been contributing to her marital problems with wife De Rossi. However, after facing tons of divorce rumors, the talk show host allegedly got her supposed drinking under control.
The Radar Online report went on to cite a source who claimed Ellen Degeneres had always been a drinker but added that the talk show host doesn’t drink when she’s at work. The alleged source also noted that while rumors have claimed Degeneres’ drinking had been an issue in the past, it was not something they are dealing with currently.
Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi began dating in 2004 and got married in 2008 during a small ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills, California.
Next month, the longtime couple will celebrate their nine-year wedding anniversary.
