Jennie Garth Sets The Records Straight And Claims Feud With Tiffani Thiessen Was Only ‘Weird Editing’

Jennie Garth is setting the record straight about some things said about her Beverly Hills, 90210 costar, Tiffani Thiessen.

Back in May, Garth, along with Tori Spelling, were on RuPaul’s Drag Race. When a drag queen appeared, dressed as Tiffani Thiessen’s 90210 character, Valerie Malone, what occurred between the two besties was what Garth described as “weird editing.”

What viewers saw was Garth stumbling with her words, as she began to say, “As Ti—, how do you say it?” And her pal, Spelling helped Jennie finish what she was saying, “Just say, ‘That which we don’t speak of.”

Everyone assumed that they were both throwing shade at Thiessen. Instead, Garth insists that this was a “really weird editing situation.” Her intention was never to insult Tiffani Thiessen, but instead, had a problem saying the name of the drag queen.

“Tori and I watched it and we were like, ‘What?’ Because I swear to God I was referring to the queen that was playing the character of Valerie and she had a really fancy name like Doolarey, I couldn’t remember it and it looked different than it came across.”

Jennie even mentioned to Us Weekly that she recently ran into Tiffani, and the two engaged in some “small talk.” The Mystery Girls star described the chance encounter with her former costar as “great,” but didn’t share what they said.

Maybe they were talking about a possible 90210 reboot, like the recent Gilmore Girls, or Roseanne reboots?

Although at this time, there is not a 90210 reboot planned, there is no doubt that Jennie Garth is on board should one come to fruition. ET recently asked her if she would want a reboot, and she immediately exclaimed “I love it.” She went on to say how much she loved the actors she worked with when she portrayed Kelly Taylor. She just wants it to all be done right.

“I love all my old castmates, working with them again would be amazing, What a great thing to do. It would just have to be the right coming together of all the minds that need to come together.”

Garth recently dished about her 90210 costar Tori Spelling’s latest addition to her brood with Dean McDermott, baby boy Beau. Garth called her energetic BFF “Wonder Woman,” and declared how “cute” Tori’s fifth child is.

The 45-year-old Garth has been very public about her own hopes for another baby. She appears to be actively trying for a fourth child of her own, this time with her third husband, Dave Abrams. She already has three daughters, Luca, Lola, and Fiona, with former husband, Twilight star, Peter Facinelli.

As of now, she told E! News that she and her family were taking a summer RV trip down south, to celebrate her nephew’s graduation in Texas, and enjoy the open road. Maybe she will get some ideas for a 90210 reboot, and make fans happy that their favorite show is back?

What do you think of Jennie Garth’s explanation about the “weird edits” that made it seem she was giving Tiffani Thiessen shade?
