Val Chmerkovskiy And Jenna Johnson Get Cute At Maks And Peta’s Fairytale Wedding: Will Valenna Be Next?
Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson have finally stopped being coy about their relationship. After months of keeping their rekindled romance private, the Dancing With the Stars pro dancers were front and center at Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd’s fairytale wedding weekend at Oheka Castle on Long Island. Val and Jenna posted cozy couples pics to their Instagram stories, shared a kiss that was caught on camera, and hammed it up in a photo booth with the bride and groom to finally give fans a long-awaited official Chmergatroyd-Valenna pic.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson’s wedding weekend was capped off with a pool party at the McCarren Hotel in Brooklyn. Valenna joined other wedding guests at the bash, then posed for a group shot with everyone surrounding newlyweds Maks and Peta. ET reports that Val and Jenna were spotted locking lips while hanging out in the pool.
Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson recently made headlines when they shared separate vacation photos during a trip to Europe. It wasn’t hard for fans to figure out that the DWTS pros were traveling together when they posted photos on Instagram of the same Roman locales and Paris landmarks at around the same time. Still, Val and Jenna were careful not to include each other in their photos.
Now, Val and Jenna seem to be more than Instagram official, and fans are hoping to see them follow in Maks and Peta’s fairytale footsteps after their magical wedding weekend.
In the past, both Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson have talked about the on-set chemistry that often occurs between dancers on Dancing With the Stars.
In an interview with People, Johnson said things happen “all the time” between DWTS pros, who work long hours together.
“You meet this person and then you’re spending hours together touching each other,” Jenna said.
“Obviously there’s attractive people most of the time as well, and chemistry happens.”
In a radio interview with Hot 937, Val, who is constantly fighting hookup rumors regarding his DWTS celeb partners, said chemistry doesn’t always mean a real-life romance.
“You can have chemistry, but you don’t have to hook up,” Chmerkovskiy said.
“It’s part of the dance, it’s part of the act. Just because it may appear that I’m in love while I’m dancing, doesn’t mean I’m in love.”
But based on the photos from Maks and Peta’s wedding weekend, Val Chmerkovskiy does seem to be in love. Or at least heavily “in like” with Jenna Johnson.

Val Chmerkovskiy has been vocal about his desire to settle down and have a family someday. Now that his older brother Maks has found love, marriage, and a baby carriage, Val could be ready to do the same. In an interview with Glamour, Val Chmerkovskiy said he can’t wait to have kids of his own.
“My father is my hero, my mother is a saint, and I want to fill those shoes and I want to be a father for somebody else,” Val told Glamour. “I feel like having kids is the greatest gift you can possibly have.”
Speaking of gifts, for Dancing With the Stars shippers, Valenna is the gift that keeps on giving.
