NASA Apocalypse Video Explains Why The World Didn’t End Yesterday

NASA is pretty confident that the world won’t end on December 21, 2012. In fact, NASA is so confident that they released their apocalypse video, The World Didn’t End Yesterday, a few days early.

NASA’s apocalypse video was clearly meant to be released on December 22 but someone jumped the gun and put it out early. The space agency has reportedly been flooded with questions about the end of the world so maybe they decided that it was better to inform instead of gloat.

The video starts:

“December 22, 2012. If you’re watching this video it means one thing. The world didn’t end yesterday. According to media reports of an ancient Mayan prophecy the world was supposed to be destroyed on December 21, 2012. But look around you. The whole thing was a misconception from the very beginning.”

The video talks about the Mayan calendar, the possibility of a catastrophic sun flare, and ancient ruins that suspiciously fail to mention the end of the world.

This isn’t NASA’s first attempt to dispel the rumors about the apocalypse. The space agency has posted several message on their blog explaining why the world will not end on December 22.

NASA writes:

“The world will not end in 2012. Our planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012.”

Here’s NASA’s apocalypse video to explain why the world didn’t end yesterday.

NASA is probably right. The world is not going to end on December 12, 2012. On the other hand, two UFO sightings were reported in California and New York this weekend which can only mean one thing: Apocalypse by alien invasion.
