Billy Brown Slammed For Spew On Missing Alaskan Bush As Ami Brown Suffers

The patriarch of Alaskan Bush People, Billy Brown, has struck a disturbing chord with fans when he recently complained about how his life has been disrupted by moving out of the Alaskan bush while Ami battles cancer. Billy was seen on the last episode of the Alaskan Bush People complaining to Ami about missing the freedom that the Alaskan bush awarded him and the family.

The Brown family has pulled up stakes and trekked to the lower 48 states to be together with Ami who is undergoing treatment for her diagnosis of stage 3 lung cancer. According to Blasting News, this diagnosis was confirmed by Billy Brown himself in the last episode of the Alaskan Bush People.

Ami is in Southern California while receiving the life-saving treatments for this disease and the family is with her. That is except for Noah and Matt, who stayed behind to keep an eye on their home in the Alaskan bush, which they named Browntown. In the last episode, Billy is seen telling Ami that he doesn’t know what he is going to do without living in the wilderness.

Billy, 64, tells his 53-year-old sick wife, “I don’t know how I’m going to live without it.” The scene was especially taxing on Ami, who wiped her tears as Billy was talking. According to People Magazine, this scene was aired on Wednesday, but it was filmed about seven weeks ago.

As Blasting News suggested, this is when it dawns on Ami that her family’s fate depends on her health when it comes to their living location. This didn’t sit well with the fans of the Alaskan Bush People show and they let it be known across the social media sites.

Facebook and Twitter both contain comments conveying how disappointed the fans of the show were after hearing Billy spew his rather “selfish” views on having to move. Ami is not doing well, according to Blasting News, which was made evident in the last episode of the Discovery Channel Show.

After Ami wiped her tears she asked Billy “What else can we do?” Fans were waiting for some reassuring words from her husband, but they never came and Billy’s attitude started a firestorm on Twitter. Fans of the Alaskan Bush People show labeled Billy Brown “insensitive” and “a jerk” along with many other unpleasant words for what seemed like his lack of empathy for what Ami is going through.

Fans were really peeved that Billy turned her illness around and appeared more concern about how it affects him rather than anything else. The fans have been overwhelmingly supportive of Ami by sending their good wishes and prayers. You can watch a new episode of the Alaskan Bush People on Wednesday night at 9 p.m. EST on the Discovery Channel.
