The Inquisitr’s First Annual Video Game Awards To Be Announced Monday, December 17, 2012
We are proud to announce that The Inquisitr will revealing all the winners of the First Annual Inquisitr Video Game Awards on Monday, December 17, 2012. After much deliberation, the gaming writers here at The Inquisitr have made our choices in a unique and interesting range of categories for Online Games and for PC and Console games.
It is our honor and our sacred duty to name the Video Game Of The Year Award for a fallen hero and much loved gamer. The First Annual Inquisitr Sean Smith Memorial Online Game Of The Year Award will be dedicated in perpetuity to Sean, who lost his life in the line of duty alongside three other brave Americans during the attack on the United States Consulate in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012.
Sean Smith was an avid gamer and a leader of the EVE Online Community. He was actually in a chat with other Eve Online players when the first shots where fired on the Consulate. Sean was known to the gaming community as Vile Rat and these where the last words he spoke before rushing help his comrades. They are burned into my memory forever.

All the folks who write about video gaming at The Inquisitr are dedicated hardcore gamers and we actually play the games we review. We have chosen the video games that we feel deserve to be singled out for excellence from the many superb games released in 2012. Although it took a great deal of time and effort to make these difficult choices, it is hard to imagine a more pleasant way to spend our days than playing every game we could get our hands on. It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it.
