Eileen Davidson Announces That She’s Leaving ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Season 8

Eileen Davidson announced on social media Friday that she’s leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8. The soap star has been on the Bravo reality series for two seasons and revealed that she won’t return to the cast.

According to some photos released online by other RHOBH cast members, Eileen Davidson was noticeably missing. The actress was aware of the chatter surrounding her absence and addressed it with fans on Twitter.

What’s the reason behind Eileen leaving the show? She wrote in a tweet that her crazy work schedule with The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives is overwhelming enough without adding another show to the list. Eileen reassures viewers that she’s not gone forever — just for the time being — and she might pop in to see what the other ladies are up to on the show.

Eileen Davidson will be sorely missed by her fans on RHOBH. There’s no doubt Lisa Rinna will miss her as well since Eileen is the one friend she can always count on no matter what drama is going on. There was talk that maybe Rinna wouldn’t be back, but she was in a photo shared by Camille Grammer on Twitter that showed the other cast members in Las Vegas — a hint that the show was filming there now. Other cast members were pictured, including Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, and Adrienne Maloof.

There was one unidentified blonde in the photo with the rest of the cast that was later to be revealed Teddi Jo Mellencamp, the newest addition to the show. Her Instagram account tells followers that she’s an “accountability coach” and stays fit. She also writes reviews for all things related to health and fitness. Mellencamp is married to Edwin Arroyave, has two children, and has one step-child.

Will she help fill in where Eileen left off for Lisa Rinna? No one can take the place of Eileen’s friendship for Rinna since they’ve been friends for years. It’s unknown where Teddi Jo’s loyalty will fall during her first season on RHOBH, or if she’ll be on as a full-time or “friend” housewife.

The official cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 won’t be revealed for a while yet, but the cast is usually good for posting photos online to keep fans guessing as they travel to various locations during filming. The show will premiere in late fall.
