Rob Kardashian could lose custody of daughter Dream for revenge porn act against Blac Chyna.

Rob Kardashian’s Revenge Porn Act Against Blac Chyna Could Make Him Lose Custody Of Dream

Rob Kardashian’s “revenge porn” spree against ex Blac Chyna on Wednesday could cause him to lose custody over their seven-month-old daughter, Dream.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr,Rob could be sent to jail and face fines for leaking Chyna’s nude images on Instagram on Wednesday, since “revenge porn” is considered illegal in California.

Under California law, Rob Kardashian could face legal consequences for spreading illicit photos of Chyna, and one such consequence is losing sole custody of his daughter.

Business Insider asked two attorneys, Meaghan Zore and Erica Johnstone, about the possible punishments that may be awaiting Mr. Kardashian if Blac Chyna decides to file a case against him.

Can Blac Chyna win a custody battle over Dream Kardashian against Rob if she decides to file charges against him? Both lawyers said yes, but for that to happen Chyna has to pursue charges under the Family Code. Under California’s Domestic Violence Prevention Act, Family Code 6203(4), revenge porn is considered “abuse” if the two parties involved had a previous relationship.

“If I were her lawyer, I would get a domestic violence restraining order and work it out by settlement agreement,” Johnstone said.

Once she has pursued charges under this statute, Blac Chyna could file a restraining order against Rob and and with that done she has a much better chance of winning a custody battle against him. A judge can also readily issue a same day restraining order and schedule a hearing for three weeks.

Of course, it goes without saying that the Kardashian family will put up a fight in the event that Chyna pursues to file criminal charges against Rob. Notably, the Kardashians are reportedly “disappointed” with Rob for fears that what he has done could hurt Dream down the line. As reported by TMZ, Rob’s family is concerned that Dream has to live with two parents who are constantly at each other’s throats. They’re also upset over Rob’s recent Twitter tirade, specifically his statement where he claimed Chyna had a baby “out of spite.”

People reported that Blac Chyna, as represented by her lawyer Walter Mosley, is exploring options to take legal action against her ex. If successful, Rob may face up to six months in prison and be fined $1,000. Of course, a thousand dollars is nothing to a Kardashian, and six months of jail time is a pittance punishment considering the gravity of what Rob has done. Losing custody over Dream, however, is where it will hurt the most.
