‘DOOL’ Spoilers: Ciara Brady Returning To Salem, Vivian Jovanni’s Character Has Been Recast

According to Red Carpet Fly on Instagram, a dinner meeting with DOOL actress Marci Miller (Abigail) revealed that Ciara is coming back to Salem. The photo shared on social media was a script cover, which will air on television on December 27, 2017. The list of characters included several of the adults as well as a few of the college-aged kids. One of those is Ciara Brady.

Previously, young Ciara was played by Lauren Boles, a talented little girl. When the soap opera decided to rapidly age up the children, Vivian Jovanni was cast to play teenage Ciara on Days Of Our Lives. However, her appearance was filled with controversy. While some viewers liked Jovanni, there were others who wanted her fired. One fan even went as far as to create a petition.

There is no word on who will play Ciara on DOOL. However, fans speculated she would be back. After all, it was stated that Ciara left Salem for the summer. That was a big hint that she would come back, but fans knew it would be someone other than Vivian portraying the character.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a leaked audition tape for “Mia” suggested the role was being recast. However, there was no confirmation of that until now.

After Vivian confirmed she left the soap opera, saying it was a “mutual decision,” her social media posts had fans worried about her. They turned a bit dark before she seemed to completely disappear for several months. Some people wondered if Jovanni was going through a depression. Thankfully, her more recent photos suggest she is once again a happy woman pursuing her dreams.

It seems that lately, Vivian has decided to reinvent herself. She will appear in The Madness Within. Instead of being credited with the name Jovanni, she is credited with the name Vivian Pupo.
