Emily Ratajkowski Praises Boyfriend, Jeff Magid, As Acting Life Curtailed By ‘Boobs’ On Instagram

Emily Ratajkowski is facing a lot of obstacles getting roles in Hollywood, but her personal life is going great. She and her boyfriend, Jeff Magid, have been going strong for years, even before she got famous for her racy role in the music video for “Blurred Lines.” Most of the time that the 26-year-old actress causes scandals is not concerning her boyfriend, but with how she expresses herself on Instagram.

For a few years now, Emily Ratajkowski has been a big advocate of the female body. She faced a lot of criticisms when she appeared nude in the “Blurred Lines” music video and later, when she and Kim Kardashian teamed up on Instagram to make jokes about having nothing to wear.

Since then, Emily has been transitioning from being a model to become a more serious actress. She landed a secondary role in Gone Girl, followed by a leading role opposite Zac Efron in We Are Your Friends. However, in the latest interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she revealed that she has a hard time landing more serious roles due to how people perceive her body.

“There’s this thing that happens to me: ‘Oh, she’s too sexy’,” Emily said. “It’s like an anti-woman thing, that people don’t want to work with me because my boobs are too big. What’s wrong with boobs? They’re a beautiful feminine thing that needs to be celebrated. Like, who cares? They are great big, they are great small. Why should that be an issue?”

The 26-year-old actress is known for her Instagram posts that bring attention to her curves.

But one person that has no problem with her physical expression is her boyfriend, Jeff Magid.

“My boyfriend is super confident and was raised by his mum, so he also genuinely loves and admires women,” she said in the interview. “Not just ‘Oh yeah, women are cool’. He deeply loves and respects women, so he loves what I’m all about.”

While she does not like to post about her relationship on her social media, she is often seen with her boyfriend when she is not working. Many of her fans associate her with party-filled lifestyle, but the actress likes to keep it chill with Jeff, choosing to go out for dinner and not to a club, and sharing wine with him instead of going out to a bar.

“I love having a glass of wine and taking my time to do it—that’s really fun for me,” she said.

One of the reasons why she likes to keep it relaxed is because she works hard. At this year’s Paris Fashion Week, she collaborated with The Kooples to design a bag that she could take from “day to night” and something that was small enough to work as a “wallet.” She shared the product with 13.9 million followers on Instagram.
