Brad Pitt Meeting George Clooney’s Twins Is Fake News Story
Brad Pitt’s “heart melted” when he laid eyes on George Clooney holding his new twins. That’s the claim being made by Hollywood Life in a recent article on their site.
“Brad [Pitt]’s heart melted when he saw George [Clooney] holding the twins — he’s never known his friend to look so complete and content,” an alleged insider source told the tabloid.
The article adds that Brad thinks it’s pretty clear that George will be a great dad. While that may be true, Gossip Cop is refuting their claim that Brad Pitt has seen the Clooney twins.
According to Gossip Cop, a site that’s become known for debunking celebrity rumors, Brad and George have not seen each other for a while, and the War Machine actor definitely hasn’t seen the new-borns, Ella and Alexander. Gossip Cop spoke to a trusted confidant in Brad Pitt’s circle who maintains that the story is not true. They also contacted a rep for Clooney who confirmed that the story is fake.
If you read the Hollywood Life article there are some clues that hint that it’s less than factual. As Gossip Cop notes, the Hollywood Life article doesn’t say when or where this meeting took place. A lack of details is a good sign that the story is short on facts.
This isn’t the first time that a Brad Pitt-George Clooney story by Hollywood Life has been debunked. When Brad and Angelina Jolie announced their split, Hollywood Life published an article which claimed that Clooney was giving Pitt his full support. However, a reporter from CNN later asked George about his Ocean’s Eleven co-star’s divorce and he said that he didn’t know anything about it.
The Mirror repeated the story and included some more details.
“Brad was overheard telling his friends at Glastonbury that he was off to see the Clooneys and their new arrivals,” a reported “insider” source said. “He was very excited about George becoming a dad for the first time. Their friendship means a lot to him, and George keeps him grounded.”
The article went on to allege that Pitt took a helicopter ride and “landed in the field next door to Clooney’s home in Oxfordshire where he was able to meet his twins for the first time.”
That’s sounds cinematic, but according to Gossip Cop, it also isn’t true.

Brad may not be as much fun to be around, anyway, since he is going through his own marital issues.
