Ambulance Called To Honey Boo Boo Home For Sugar Bear

The Honey Boo Boo clan had a Christmas scare on Saturday when an ambulance was called to their Georgia home for family patriarch, Sugar Bear.

Radar reports that an ambulance was called to the reality TV star’s house because her father, Sugar Bear, wasn’t “feeling well.” E! News first reported that paramedics were dispatched to the Honey Boo Boo home to check out Sugar Bear:

“An ambulance was called to the house, but he was not taken off in it, [he] just got checked out by paramedics,” an eyewitness told the site.

Sugar Bear was dressed ad Santa Claus for an annual toy drive the family hosts at their home. When the 40-year-old wouldn’t allow kids to sit on his lap like he normally does, witnesses began to suspect that he wasn’t feeling well.

“Usually you’re allowed to sit on Sugar Bear’s lap,” the source said. “But he was not feeling well…they were worried his blood pressure was getting high.”

Sugar Bear was hospitalized just three months ago after an ATV accident that left him with an infection in his leg. At the time, word began to spread that he would need to get the leg amputated, but this later proved to not be the case.

“Sugar Bear is a big baby, when he gets hurt he’s a big baby and he likes us to stay and when we have to leave he doesn’t like it,” Honey Boo Boo’s mom, June Shannon, told Radar.
