First Lady Melania Trump continues to fascinate the public, with Melania’s birthday card to President Trump going viral two days after she sent it from her @FLOTUS Twitter account, as reported by the Inquisitr. Now Melania is gaining attention once more for the outfit she chose to wear, as seen in the above photo, when Melania and President Donald Trump signed the Supreme Court guest book, on Thursday, June 15. Melania’s group photo with the president and members of the Supreme Court also went viral due to the look captured on the face of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Beyond those photos, people are focusing on what Melania chose to wear the day that the Supreme Court held the special sitting for Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch, representing his formal shindig as Gorsuch took the oaths of office in order to formally launch his role as the 101st Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the U.S.
As seen on the Dolce & Gabbana website, the “Sleeveless Stretch Wool Jacket with Bejewelled Buckle at the Back” was marked down from $3,845 to $2.307, representing 40 percent off. Photos on the designer’s website show the feminine buckle at the back of the jacket, and the description gives more information about the double-breasted jacket Melania wore.
“The Spring-Summer 2017 is a journey towards an imaginary Italian Tropic, where the icons traditionally associated with Italy, like bread, pasta and good luck charms are merged with a holiday atmosphere, punctuated by cocktails, ice cream and sequins.
“Sleeveless double-breasted jacket in stretch wool with sartorial topstitching:
• Classic lapels
• Bejeweled buckle at the back
• Satin-covered button fastenings at the front
• Front flap pockets with a Georgette trim
• The piece measures 21.5 inches from the rear collar seam on a size IT 40
• The mannequin measures 22 inches from the back collar seam and wears a size IT 40
• Made in Italy”
The designer has made news lately also, for running a tongue-in-cheek Boycott Dolce & Gabbana campaign that features #BOYCOTTDOLCEGABBANA t-shirts. The gear was made as a response to backlash against anyone who didn’t like the fact that Dolce & Gabbana was one of the designers who didn’t shy away from dressing Melania.
As seen in the below Twitter post from Dolce & Gabbana, the designers promoted their boycott shirts with big red hearts in the center.

Melania gained plenty of attention for wearing a Dolce & Gabbana jacket that cost $51,500, as reported by the Inquisitr, during her overseas trip with President Trump. However, any backlash about the cost of Melania’s clothing is not stopping the former fashion model from wearing her favorite designer clothing.
Other rare photos of President Trump and Melania, before they were POTUS and FLOTUS, were featured in a recent article from Getty Images, as reported by the Inquisitr.
