Beyonce And Jay-Z’s Twins Might Be Here Already, And Barack Obama Casually Revealed Their Sexes

Beyonce and Jay-Z’s twins have Twitter on edge as the Beyhive impatiently waits for news that the musically-blessed babies have arrived. Ever since the world’s biggest hip-hop power couple announced that they were expecting twins, fans have been tirelessly trying to figure out whether Beyonce and Jay-Z are having two boys, two girls, or a boy and a girl. However, their days of scouring Bey’s Instagram for cryptic clues may be at an end; some fans think Barack Obama just spilled the beans about the twins’ sexes.

As E! New reports, Jay-Z and Beyonce skipped a once-in-a-lifetime event on Thursday night, which is a sure sign that the twins are either about to arrive or are here already. Jay-Z was supposed to attend the 48th Annual Songwriters Hall Of Fame Induction and Awards Gala in New York City, where the hip-hop icon was honored as the first rapper ever to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame. However, because Jay-Z and Beyonce were no-shows, Jon Platt, CEO/Chairman of Warner Chappell Music, had to accept the award on Mr. Carter’s behalf.

Jay-Z tweeted his acceptance speech, which was basically a thank you to the many musicians he admires. After ticking off the names of dozens of rappers from many different eras—including Tupac, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Tyler the Creator, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, Biggie Smalls, and Kanye West—he swore that he wasn’t drunk-tweeting. He also shared a congratulatory video from Barack Obama that has his fans who are suffering from Beyonce baby fever totally freaking out. As Cosmopolitan reports, Obama slyly drops a hint that the Carters have been trying to choose unique names for two baby girls. He also cracks a dad joke about Beyonce and Michelle Obama.

“Jay and I are also fools for our daughters, though he’s gonna have me beat once those two twins show up,” Obama says in the video. “And let’s face it, we both have wives who are significantly more popular than we are.”

Barack and Michelle Obama currently have two daughters, and Beyonce and Jay-Z have one. In order to “beat” the Obamas in the daughter game, the Carters would have to add two more girls to the family. This is why the Beyhive is now convinced that Jay-Z and Beyonce’s twins are both girls. Now the big question is whether Blue Ivy’s little sisters have already arrived or if Jay and Bey told Barack Obama the sex of the twins before they were born.

One source allegedly spotted Jay-Z and Blue Ivy at a hospital in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, so it’s possible that the twins arrived sometime before Jay-Z tweeted his Songwriters Hall Of Fame acceptance speech. And speaking of Jay-Z’s tweets, he found a creative way to mention Beyonce in the middle of his long list of thank yous.

“B a rapper too!” he tweeted of his talented wife.

For now, Jay-Z and Beyonce fans will have to keep impatiently waiting for the official announcement that the twins have arrived, and Barack Obama can only hope that the Carters aren’t too upset with him for spoiling one of the biggest secrets about the babies. If Jay and Bey already have their little girls’ names picked out, they may want to avoid telling the former president what they are so that they can break this bit of baby news themselves.
