Fredrik Eklund Announces Big News For ‘Million Dollar Listing’

Fredrik Eklund is excited because the hit show, Million Dollar Listing: New York, is back on Bravo. Despite being a best-selling author, a record-breaking real estate agent, and a loving husband, Fredrik is very proud to be one of the three sellers on the show. The New York franchise, which Fredrik Eklund has been a part of since the beginning, has been one of the most successful shows in the entire Million Dollar Listing portfolio. It has been nominated twice for an Emmy award, which none of the other shows can share.

According to a new Instagram post, Fredrik Eklund revealed that he’s very excited about a new episode of Million Dollar Listing: New York, which airs tonight on Bravo. And there’s a reason to be excited because the show is proving to be yet another success. The ratings are high, and the agents are more popular than ever.

And this is despite the cast change last year, where Luis decided to leave the show behind to focus on his own life. He didn’t want to work in real estate anymore, and after a few months, he decided to move his entire life to Paris, France. His co-stars will visit him in France later this season, proving that this show is much more than real estate. There are true friendships between these agents.

“When you realize a new episode of Million Dollar Listing New York is out tonight!! And the sounds you make when they’ve just told you we’ve had the highest ratings of any season so far! So, now…. are you watching?” Fredrik Eklund wrote on Instagram, celebrating the high ratings of the season.

As Eklund once revealed, the show has become about much more than just buildings, sales, and modern finishes. It has become a personal show about these agents, as they work against each other in this competitive industry. Fans are also invested in their private lives as they get engaged, married and start families.

Several other Million Dollar Listing franchises were launched over the past couple of years. Bravo tried to launch a franchise in Miami and one in San Francisco, but the New York franchise and the Los Angeles franchise are the two that continue to move forward. Perhaps fans are more invested in these agents as they have been open about their lives and their personal struggles.

What do you think of Fredrik Eklund’s comments on Instagram about the high ratings? Are you surprised that the show is doing so well considering Luis D. Ortiz quit last year?
