Shenae Grimes Engaged: ‘90210’ Star To Marry British Beau, Josh Beech

90210 star Shenae Grimes is officially off the market.

On Friday the 23-year-old actress announced she accepted British model Josh Beech’s marriage proposal.

“Yes…I am engaged,” Grimes tweeted, along with a link to her official website, which featured a photo of her kissing her new finance.

Shenae, who plays Annie Wilson in the Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff, also sent out a special thank you message to her fans on her site.

“Thanks for all the congratulations everyone. I’m a very happy lady indeed and all the warm wishes are well appreciated! We plan to keep our special day very private and we hope everyone can respect that. Thanks for the love, right back atcha!

According to US Weekly, Grimes and Beech, 24, have been dating since the spring and are planning to get married in England during the summer of 2013.

“Josh couldn’t see himself being with anyone else so he asked her and she is over the moon about it,” a friend tells Us Weekly of the couple’s engagement. “They fell for each other hard and since they’ve met, they talk non-stop. If they’re not around each other, they’re texting, calling and tweeting back and forth all the time.”

Besides planning her upcoming wedding, Grimes will be shooting Season 5 of the CW’s 90210 in the months to come and also is slated to star in Soulmates and Empire State opposite Emma Roberts and Liam Hemsworth.

Her fiancé, meanwhile, will continue his modeling career for brands such as Burberry, Just Cavalli and Levi’s 501 Jeans. Beech apparently also dabbles in fashion design and, along with a friend, has created his own street clothing brand called Cut Run.
