Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham says she’d love to return to Stars Hollow as Lorelai Gilmore in the future. The actress, who reprised her beloved role for Netflix’s 2016 revival, claims that she loves the character so much that it would be hard to say no to portraying her again.

Warning: Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life spoilers below.

According to Pop Culture, Lauren Graham recently sat down with Entourage actress Constance Zimmer as a part of the Actors on Actors series and opened up about how much the role of Lorelai on Gilmore Girls has meant to her.

Graham, 50, says that one of the best things about working on Gilmore Girls and the recent revival is her off-screen relationship with her co-star, Alexis Bledel, who plays her daughter Rory on the series.

As many fans know, Gilmore Girls centers around Lorelai and Rory as they navigate their life together as mother and daughter and best friends. The two have one of the most special and unique mother/daughter relationships ever to be seen on television, and fans can’t get enough of their witty banner, touching moments, and undying love and loyalty to one another. When it was announced that the show was going to return for a revival last year, featuring four 90-minute long episodes, fans were over the moon with excitement.

“I love that character so much, it would be very hard to say no.”

Meanwhile, fans are hoping that Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, and the rest of the Gilmore Girls cast return for more episodes after the revival left fans with a huge cliffhanger. After living through one of the toughest years of her life, Rory watches her mother and Luke finally get married. In the final scene of the show, Rory looks at her blissful mother and drops a huge bombshell, revealing that she is pregnant.

As viewers know, there are a few suspects for who could possibly be the father of Rory’s baby. The most obvious suspect is Logan. Rory had been carrying on an affair with her college boyfriend throughout the entire revival. However, she also had her own boyfriend, and admitted to having a one-night stand with someone she met at a comic book convention. While some fans were hoping Rory’s baby would belong to Jess, played by This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia, the actor has already confirmed that he’s not the father.
