Pregnant Kailyn Lowry Embarks On ‘Sad’ Babymoon Ahead Of Due Date
Kailyn Lowry has left the country ahead of her third child’s due date.
While the Teen Mom 2 star is due to give birth in the coming weeks, she took some time to herself recently and traveled to Puerto Rico for a babymoon as her oldest children, 7-year-old Isaac and 3-year-old Lincoln, spent time with their fathers, Jo Rivera and Javi Marroquin.
“[Kailyn Lowry] wanted to go back to Puerto Rico before the baby comes,” a source close to Kailyn Lowry told Radar Online on June 14. “The boys were with their dads so she went for a few days.”
Kailyn Lowry has been chronicling her babymoon on social media since her arrival in Puerto Rico, and in one post, the reality star revealed that she and her unborn child had enjoyed their first swim in the ocean. She also said that she wished she had her GoPro to further entertain herself while on her solo vacation. With another post, Kailyn Lowry shared a photo of a pasta dish and told fans she was enjoying “dinner for one.”
Kailyn Lowry confirmed her baby news with fans in February and revealed Chris Lopez as her third baby daddy a few months later. Since then, shocking details regarding their relationship have surfaced.
As Radar Online revealed, Kailyn Lowry’s third baby daddy was helpful during the early months of her pregnancy, but after their split earlier this year, they reportedly went their separate ways after Lopez chose to end their relationship.
Weeks ago, a source told the outlet that Chris Lopez never loved Kailyn Lowry and only dated her because it was convenient. Then, after deciding he preferred something different, he broke up with her.
While Chris Lopez isn’t expected to attend Kailyn Lowry’s delivery, the Teen Mom 2 star wants to give her former boyfriend the opportunity to play a role in her child’s life. As the insider explained, Lowry has never told Lopez that he couldn’t be involved but has no plans to chase him down in hopes of making it happen.
Kailyn Lowry and her co-stars, including Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Briana DeJesus, and Chelsea Houska, will return to MTV this summer for Teen Mom 2 Season 8.
