Amanda Stanton Speaks Out Against The Mom Shamers

Amanda Stanton joined the cast of Bachelor in Paradise once again this summer, and she has been getting a really hard time from fans about it. The show was canceled, but everyone knows she went to the filming, and they won’t let up on her. Now, E! Online is sharing that Amanda is speaking out against the mom shamers who are giving her a hard time for not being at home with her two daughters. Amanda has two little girls at home, but she is no longer with their dad. Stanton and her ex-husband of three years, Nick Buonfiglio, share daughters Charlie and Kinsley. When she was with Josh Murray, he was very involved with her daughters as well, and Josh has revealed that he misses them now that they have called it quits.

Amanda actually went to her Instagram page to share her thoughts about everyone giving her a hard time for leaving to film this show and not staying at home with her daughters. Stanton started out saying, “I don’t normally like to address the trolls/mom shamers … but it’s so out of control!” After that, she went on to explain that her daughters have a father in their life. Nick Buonfiglio is a big part of their life, and when Amanda is off filming shows, they spend time with their dad.

Stanton went on to explain that when she posts pictures that don’t include her children, people make rude comments toward her. She said that sometimes when she doesn’t have her kids, she isn’t able to be with them because they are spending time with their father instead.

After that, Amanda Stanton continued, saying, “Alllllll the other days, weeks and months of the year, I am with them! I understand that most parents don’t go on reality TV shows … but everyone’s lives are different. My kids are my entire world. I am doing my best to give them a great life.”

When they film Bachelor in Paradise, it only takes about two or three weeks to film it. The entire show airs for a month, though. It isn’t unusual for a father to get extra time with his kids over the summer, so it sounds like he has a longer visit from his two girls when Amanda is off filming.

Are you happy to hear Amanda Stanton speaking out against the mom shamers? Do you think she should quit being on reality television? Sound off in the comments section below and don’t miss the new episodes of The Bachelorette on Monday nights on ABC with Rachel Linsday. As of right now, it looks like fans won’t get to see this new season of Bachelor in Paradise.
