Is Jill Zarin Claiming She Helped Boost Ratings For ‘RHONY’?
Jill Zarin returned for a single episode of The Real Housewives of New York last week, and she filmed with Luann de Lesseps and Thomas D’Agostino during a night out. Jill and Luann have remained friends over the years, and Jill is a big supporter of her marriage to Thomas. While many of the other Real Housewives of New York co-stars are warning Luann about Thomas’ possible cheating, Jill just wants her friend to be happy. Even though Zarin was fired from the show a few years ago, she decided to return this past week, and she was thrilled about the return.
According to a new Instagram post, Jill Zarin revealed that the ratings were super high during the episode where she was featured. It sounds like she’s trying to give Andy Cohen a hint – the ratings are higher when she’s on the show. She posted her message on Instagram.
“Flashback… the original cast of #realhousewivesofnewyorkcity reunion taped May 18, 2008! I’m I’m NOT on anymore episodes..sorry! But I will be on WWHL tonight with @countessluann LIVE at 11pm. Thank you for all watching last week to give @bravotv the highest rated cable show at 9pm last wk for the first time this year. TWEET @andy any questions for us! Love you!!” Jill Zarin revealed on Instagram, sharing a picture of all the ladies from the very first reunion special with her then-co-stars.

Of course, Jill Zarin will always be a part of the Bravo family, as she was on The Real Housewives of New York for four seasons. She was fired from the show during a cast overhaul, and she wasn’t the only person fired during this time. After she was fired, Zarin kept saying that she wanted nothing to do with the franchise because it was too dramatic and caused her stress. But when an opportunity opened up for a new housewife, Jill Zarin would often speak fondly of the show, perhaps as a way to get back in the group.

If Jill Zarin was to return to the show, one can imagine she would be close friends with Luann De Lesseps. She was invited to the wedding in Palm Beach because she had been close with Luann for years. But fans may want to know if Jill would try to make up with Bethenny Frankel. When they were filming the show’s third season, Bethenny tried to make up with Jill Zarin after an argument. Zarin shut her out, but it sounds like she might have regretted that decision. It sounds like Jill has nothing but positive things to say about her former friend these days.
