Was Corinne Olympios blackout drunk during the alleged Bachelor in Paradise scandal with DeMario Jackson?
A lot of rumors and speculations turned up right after news about the suspension of filming of the fourth season of BIP became known, one of which is from TMZ that claimed how Corinne does not recall anything that occurred during the controversial pool incident.
According to the article published on June 13, the BIP star was too drunk at the time and was even “falling over” two hours following the alleged sexual encounter with Jackson. Citing a witness from the Mexican resort where the show was being filmed, the outlet revealed that the 24-year-old reality TV star’s speech was slurred and that she was even wearing her clothes inside out, attempting to remove doubt on claims of Corinne Olympios’ blackout drunk moment.
However, the outlet also mentioned that people who were able to watch the footage of the incident can prove that she was lucid while naked with DeMario who, at the time, was “rubbing, touching, and fingering” her before performing oral sex.
Now, questions on whether Olympios was really that drunk during the alleged raunchy encounter with her 30-year-old Bachelor In Paradise co-star remain unanswered as Warner Bros. conduct their investigation of the “misconduct.”
Fortunately, Doug Caine, an expert on alcohol addiction and founder of the Somber Champion, explained how many shots Corinne Olympios would have to drink before reaching the so-called “blackout drunk” phase.
Speaking to Hollywood Life, Doug noted that she might have already passed out by the time she had her third drink unless she is an alcoholic.
“Unless Corinne is already alcohol dependent, it is possible that three drinks could create an absolute blackout,” he explained.
“There are other issues that cause some bodies to process alcohol more efficiently than other bodies, and it is possible that two drinks could have done the same thing.”
Furthermore, the alcoholism expert also emphasized the high probability that speculations about Corinne Olympios’ blackout drunk moment at the time of the pool sex are true because of the hot weather in Mexico during the incident.
“If you do not already know how heat and fatigue effect your body when you add alcohol, avoid alcohol while in the water in the summer.”
On top of that, a crew member of the Bachelor spin-off series reportedly told the Daily Mail that the two started hanging out while having some drink after finding out that a storyline presented to them would involve bringing them together for a hook-up.
The legendary Ginuwine once said,” I'm just a bachelor, I'm looking for a partner” on the classic, baby making song, “Pony.” And after years of searching for a partner I’m excited to announce that I'll be one of 31 lucky men fighting for the heart of @therachlindsay on @thebachelorette. Chris Harrison said that, “I'm smooth, maybe too smooth and that I'm here for the wrong reasons”… and he may or may not be right… so you will have to tune to this seasons The Bachelorette to see who is here for the RIGHT (and WRONG) reasons. “Corinne and Demario found out when they arrived in Mexico that the storyline would involve the two of them hooking up so they decided to hang out and get better acquainted over drinks,” the insider reportedly said while speaking about Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.
After that, the crew member went on to describe in detail the shocking events that transpired during Corinne Olympios’ blackout drunk moment.
“Soon they decided to go swimming and when they climbed into the Jacuzzi, they were both loaded. Corinne proceeded to remove her bathing suit and things got increasingly sexual.”
However, Ben Higgins, a former Bachelor who starred in earlier seasons of Bachelor in Paradise, denied that participants of the spin-off were given a ready storyline and claimed that they weren’t forced into any situation in the show, as reported by the Inquisitr.
“I was never forced into anything. I was talked through as a friend in situations. If I was confused, they would sit with me and allow me to speak my mind and help me process,” he said during an interview with People.
