Injured ‘Monday Night Raw’ Tag Team Star Quietly Returns To Action Last Night, Sneaks Into Huge Brawl

When The Revival first appeared on WWE’s main roster, they immediately had their cult following grow tremendously, but an unexpected injury slowed them down. In the middle of April, Dash Wilder suffered a broken jaw at a NXT event that landed him on the sidelines for at least two months. While many expected him back soon, no one knew just when he would return until he quietly showed up in the massive brawl on Monday Night Raw.

This week on Raw, Brock Lesnar started out the show by heading to the ring and having Paul Heyman call out Samoa Joe. Without any hesitation, the Samoa Submission Machine headed down to the ring and the violent fight was on between the two men who will face off at Great Balls of Fire next month.

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle called out security to break them up, but that didn’t even come close to working. Then, he called out as many superstars on the Raw roster as he could get to the ring, and they were out there trying to keep the men separated.

During this brawl, many keen-eyed WWE fans were able to notice that someone was involved in the melee that wasn’t expected to be there at all — Dash Wilder.

PW Mania confirmed that during the opening segment brawl, Wilder was one of the superstars who went to the ring to help pull Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe apart. Now, WWE wouldn’t let him out there if his broken jaw wasn’t fully healed, but is he completely cleared to wrestle?

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE doctors have cleared Dash Wilder from his broken jaw and are allowing him to wrestle again. Last month Scott Dawson announced that he was expected to be out in six weeks, which was an optimistic estimate, and it appears as if he was spot on.

At this time, it isn’t yet known what is in store for The Revival as they were feuding with The New Day for a while before Wilder’s injury.

Dash Wilder’s return could not have come at a better time as it appears the feud between The Hardy Boyz and the team of Cesaro and Sheamus is about to come to an end. Scott Dawson needs his partner and this would be the perfect time for The Revival to make their return and go after the Raw Tag Team Championship. With Wilder’s jaw healed and doctors clearing him to get back in the ring, the era of The Revival can truly begin.
