Kylie Jenner Made An Insane Amount Of Money This Year: Her Net Worth Revealed

Kylie Jenner pulled in a serious amount of cash between 2016 and 2017, and her incredible net worth is now being revealed.

Forbes unveiled its annual Celebrity 100 list this week, which ranks the world’s wealthiest stars, and revealed that Jenner had landed on the prestigious rich list for the first time by raking in a whopping $41 million over the past 12 months.

As the youngest celebrity on the list at just 19-years-old, the site reported that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star made her staggering fortune “from endorsements, her family’s reality TV show, a namesake cosmetics company and a clothing line.”

The huge amount of cash was only enough to put Kylie at #59 on Forbes’ list, although Jenner was one of just 16 women to make the cut alongside big sister Kim Kardashian.

Kim came in a little higher than her little sister, having earned $45.5 million over the past 12 months, which put Kardashian at #47 on the list.

But just because her big sister was a few slots higher, it looks like Jenner is still pretty excited to have made the very prestigious ranking just days after she totally stripped down on Instagram.

Kylie headed over to her official Twitter account on June 12 to share her excitement with her 21 million followers, where she acknowledged being the youngest celebrity to make the cut this year.

“Wow woke up the youngest entry on the @Forbes 100 list,” Jenner tweeted, adding a praying emoji to her message.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, who recently announced her own E! reality series spinoff, Life of Kylie, then continued to share her excitement by retweeting a slew of tweets from various outlets acknowledging her huge milestone.

But while there’s no doubting that Jenner was born with a whole lot of money in her back pocket due to her family ties, Kylie denied that she earned her incredible net worth because of her family members last year and noted that she works hard every day to make her money.

“I’m always thinking about working,” Kylie told Allure magazine last year, revealing that her mom Kris Jenner instilled her work ethic in her, and Kylie actually rarely has any downtime due to her busy work schedule.

Kylie also told Glamour magazine U.K. last year that she’s been paying for everything since she was 14-years-old after her mom cut her off financially.

“Ever since I started earning my own money, I’ve paid for everything: all my cars, houses, clothes, everything,” Kylie said last year per Us Weekly.

Jenner also told the magazine that she’s actually very careful when it comes to spending and monitors every penny that comes out of her net worth. “I like to know exactly what’s going on and I’m actually quite careful with what I spend.”

The reality star then went on to credit herself as being “an inspiration” for young girls because of her various business ventures.

“I make my own money and start my own businesses and I feel like I’m an inspiration for a lot of young girls who want to stand on their own,” she said at the time. “I haven’t had a dollar of my mom’s money in five years.”
