‘LPBW’: Matt Roloff Shares Adorable New Photo Of First Grandbaby, Relives When He Found Out ‘I’d Be A Grandpa’

First-time grandparent and Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff took to social media on Monday to share an adorable new photo of his first grandbaby. The 55-year-old beloved Roloff patriarch also shared on social media that he recently relived the moment he found out he’d be a grandpa on a previous episode of Little People, Big World. Matt Roloff has gained thousands of followers on social media thanks to the Roloff family’s TLC reality TV show Little People, Big World — followers who shared their own joy and excitement of seeing a new photo on social media of Matt Roloff posing with his first grandson, Jackson Kyle.

Fans of Little People, Big World have been closely watching all of the Roloff family members on social media since the first Roloff grandbaby was born just over four weeks ago. Since then, several new photos of baby Jackson have surfaced from parents Zach and Tori, grandparents Matt and Amy, and uncle and aunt Jeremy and Audrey. Proud first-time grandpa Matt Roloff alone has shared five photos of his first grandbaby via his personal Facebook account @RealMattRoloff. The most recent photo on late Monday shows Matt Roloff sitting in a utility vehicle holding baby Jackson with the caption, “Just can’t get enough of this little farmer.”

The photo hasn’t even been up for 24 hours yet but already has over 50,000 likes and reactions from Little People, Big World fans and Roloff family members alike. Baby Jackson’s uncle Jeremy Roloff — Zach Roloff’s fraternal twin — liked the photo. Of course, Jeremy and his wife Audrey are due to welcome the second Roloff grandbaby into the world this coming September. Audrey Roloff also shared a new photo on her personal Facebook account on late Monday giving Little People, Big World fans a quick update on her pregnancy. According to Audrey, she’s into her third trimester, and her baby girl “does not stop moving.” Audrey doesn’t give pregnancy updates very often, so her Facebook followers were excited to see a new “beautiful picture” of her with her growing baby bump.

Proud uncle Jeremy Roloff also took to social media on Monday to share a photo of his first nephew. Jeremy and Audrey will be first-time parents with the birth of their baby girl in September, and Jeremy shared that “it’s been amazing” to “hang with baby Jackson” for the last month, adding that Jackson will be a cousin soon. Little People, Big World fans have watched both Roloff pregnancies during the current season, that airs new episodes on TLC every Tuesday evening. Zach and Tori Roloff shared their pregnancy news during the last season of Little People, Big World, while Jeremy and Audrey Roloff shared their “big news” on the current season.

Matt Roloff took to his personal Facebook account last Wednesday to share that he was “reliving the moment I found out I’d be a Grandpa.” Matt was referring to watching the very last episode of the last season of Little People, Big World when Zach and Tori Roloff delivered “unforgettable” baby news to the Roloff family. That episode, titled “Life’s About to Change,” pretty much summed up the current season of Little People, Big World for its loyal group of fans when it aired back in January. The entire current season of Little People, Big World has followed Zach and Tori and Jeremy and Audrey as both couples prepare to become first-time parents.

Matt and Amy Roloff opened up about becoming grandparents in an article on Romper. The Little People, Big World couple, who’s recently divorced and who both suffer from different types of dwarfism, talked about their concerns for baby Jackson having dwarfism. While they both admitted that they were “understandably nervous” about baby Jackson being a little person, or an LP, which is the entire premise behind Little People, Big World, Amy shared that she was more worried about the health complications from dwarfism, and Matt shared that “he didn’t think it really mattered all that much” if baby Jackson was a little person of a person of average height.

Said Matt Roloff, “You know, as far as the baby being ‘little person’ or ‘average person,’ it doesn’t really matter. I’m going to be excited about either one.”

Catch new episodes of Little People, Big World on TLC every Tuesday evening at 9 p.m. ET. The next new episode, titled “This Is Going to Be a Stressful Time,” is due to air tonight and will show Tori Roloff “face the reality that she may need a C-section,” while “Jeremy and Audrey are nervous as they try to finalize the purchase of their dream home.” TWC Central also shares in a summary of Episode 7 that Amy and Matt Roloff “prepare to become grandparents in their own special ways.”
