Johnny Depp Accused Of Being A Diva At Tower Bar, Story Debunked

Johnny Depp was recently accused of showcasing some diva-like behavior at a restaurant in Los Angeles. According to Gossip Cop, the original report came from InTouch Weekly. The magazine spoke with an unnamed source who said that Depp was at Tower Bar with a group of friends when he demanded to sit at a table that was secluded from the rest of the people at the eatery. The table was referred to as “his table.”

A source told the site that Depp was informed that another party had been sitting at “his table,” and he was forced to sit somewhere else — somewhere far less private. After complaining to the staff, the source said that a curtain was placed around the table so that Depp and his pals could eat in private and enjoy their time without being gawked at by the public. The source said that the management staff apologized numerous times and did what they could to accommodate the famed actor.

Now, according to Gossip Cop, the world has learned that the aforementioned story isn’t true. The popular gossip-debunking site spoke with someone close to Depp and found out that the story was fabricated. In fact, the source told Gossip Cop that the whole thing never actually happened. The source called the story “ridiculous.”

Gossip Cop added that this isn’t the first time that they’ve had to clear up rumors about Johnny Depp. Previously, Depp was accused of acting like a diva at Disneyland. It was Star Magazine that reported that Depp demanded to be addressed as his Pirates of the Caribbean character, Jack Sparrow. This report came out just after he went to Disneyland in California to surprise people on the amusement park ride, “Pirates of the Caribbean.” The thing is, Depp never did such a thing.

While he is known to be eccentric and a little bit out there (depending on who you ask), Depp did not ask anyone to refer to him as Jack Sparrow — at least, not seriously. Surely people referred to him by that name just as a joke given the actual reason he was there (to promote the fifth installment of the popular Disney franchise).
