‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Who is Graham? Past Haunts Ashley In Shocking Identity & Motive Reveal

The Young and the Restless spoilers finally reveal who Graham Bloodworth (Max Shippee) is. He most definitely has a hold on Dina (Marla Adams), but Young and the Restless fans who have been speculating his role in her life may cross the title of “lover” off that list. Spoilers also reveal that Graham has a tie to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and this link will explain the venomous looks he loves poisoning her with. If Graham isn’t her lover, then what is his motive for traveling with Dina?

Inquisitr speculated that there were two possibilities for who this mysterious “protector” in Dina’s life was. The first was that since Dina may be suffering from a health condition such as Alzheimer’s that he could be her doctor or caregiver. It would then make sense that he travels with her and makes sure that she doesn’t overexert herself. The other possibility was that Graham could be Dina’s son and that she returned to Genoa City to introduce him to her other children. According to the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, both of those theories are wrong. Graham has a more enduring role in Dina’s life than a passing love interest or a medical caregiver.

Graham’s story goes way back, in fact, as far back as the late 1980s. The latest Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Graham Bloodworth is the younger brother of Eric Garrison. Who is Eric Garrison? Eric was Dina’s lover, as well as the ex-fiancé of Ashley Abbott before she found out that he was her mother’s boy-toy too. Upon finding out that Eric was a two-timing Parisian artist, Ashley dumped Eric and started a romantic relationship with Marc Mergeron, Dina’s stepson.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, all the time that Dina’s own children, Ashley, Jack, and Tracy, were longing for their own mother, she had found a substitute child in Graham. So, although Graham isn’t technically Dina’s son, she “took Graham under her wing while living in Paris.” Graham is also very aware of Ashley’s relationship with his older brother and has a burning resentment against her, hence the death glares.

Graham conveniently has a financial background, and according to Young and the Restless spoilers he was the one who actually was the mind behind the Mergeron Enterprises sale. He has also been riding the Dina cash train for the majority of his life and will obviously feel entitled to Dina’s fortune. It is unlikely that he expected her to ever reunite with her children again and could be the reason why he was so anxious to exit Genoa City before Dina’s children put all the pieces of the puzzle together.

The other question which Young and the Restless fans are dying to have answered is if Dina is really ill? Spoilers indicate that there is a possibility that Graham could be making her believe that she is ill. If he could convince her to become the executor of her estate, he could conveniently arrange to become an heir to all of Dina’s money!
