‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Season 4 Scandal: Contestant Claims ‘Incident’ Was Blown Out Of Proportion

The Bachelor In Paradise Season 4 scandal has forced contestants to speak up after filming of the upcoming new season of the show is halted due to an alleged “sexual misconduct” between DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios.

The incident has been blown out of proportion, a contestant on the popular Warner Bros. reality show reportedly revealed to Radar Online.

Speaking anonymously, the outlet’s source, who is allegedly one of the contestants supposedly joining Bachelor In Paradise Season 4 and was present during the alleged sexual assault on Olympios, revealed that the matter was not as big of a deal as it is being portrayed in the news.

“DeMario was in the pool,” the insider told Entertainment Tonight.

“Next thing you know, Corinne comes over and hops on his lap. They start talking and joking.”

Radar’s source, who claims to have knowledge about most of the cast members’ opinion on the matter, expressed his or her disbelief on the issue that led Warner Bros. to suspend filming as speculations emerge that the Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 scandal led to the cancellation of the show.

“We were all there and can’t believe this is even a thing. I just hope the investigation shows the truth behind the ‘incident.’ The cast has a pretty clear opinion about this whole situation.”

Based on a report from Entertainment Tonight, the alleged “sexual assault” happened during an instance where Jackson and Olympios started to get a bit flirty after “drinking all day.” At that point, a “third party,” who is reportedly one of the producers of the show, felt uncomfortable and filed the misconduct complaint.

According to the outlet’s source, Corinne, who recently became the hottest topic of entertainment reports, said she cannot remember anything that transpired during the “incident.”

“After the incident with DeMario and Corinne, some producers were gone the next day and nobody knew why,” the source added before revealing that both parties involved became the center of attention because they were speaking to a therapist at one point.

“They were pulled aside, other cast members weren’t,” the source claims.

Furthermore, members of the cast were reportedly asked whether they wanted to stay or not but later got sent home anyway even if they decided to continue filming.

But as news about the Bachelor In Paradise Season 4 scandal reach the World Wide Web, those who are supposedly joining the cast start to speak up on the condition that they remain anonymous.

On one hand, one of them told People on Tuesday that there was a point where they were banned from speaking to each other on set.

“We knew something bad had happened; there was a dark energy that came around the house. You have to understand that we weren’t even there a week. The game hadn’t even really begun yet.”

After that, the crew stopped filming and left the cast members in what the source described as a “limbo” of sorts due to the Bachelor In Paradise Season 4 scandal.

“We couldn’t talk to each other about what we knew. On Thursday, one of the camera guys told me that they were probably going to shut down production,” the source adds.

“I didn’t realize that it was that serious until then. I was like, ‘wait, they’re thinking of canceling the show?’ It hadn’t even crossed my mind that they’d do that.”

Based on the collective information gathered from different news outlets, the only official statement so far is the one from Warner Bros., announcing the suspension of Bachelor In Paradise due to the third party “allegations of misconduct” during filming in Mexico.

“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of Bachelor in Paradise‘ in Mexico,” a rep for the production company told Deadline of the Bachelor In Paradise Season 4 scandal.

“We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”

As of the writing of this article, speculations of the show’s cancellation haven’t been confirmed yet pending results of the probe of the Bachelor In Paradise Season 4 scandal.
