Farrah Abraham’s New Show: Simon Saran Claims MTV Is Forcing Her To Date Other People

Farrah Abraham recently announced plans to star in a new dating reality show and according to her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Simon Saran, the idea was forced on her by MTV.

As Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran continue to spark rumors of a reconciliation after announcing their split weeks ago on Teen Mom OG, Saran has taken to Twitter to call out the network and their producer, Morgan J. Freeman, for staging a number of fake dates for Abraham.

“[Teen Mom] in Vegas forcing [Farrah Abraham] to go on fake dates as we speak,” Saran tweeted on June 11. “[Morgan J. Freeman] you are going to have to do better than that!”

After a fan then pointed out that Farrah Abraham’s decision to participate in the upcoming series was her choice and asked Saran if he was mad at her, Saran explained to the fan that he wasn’t mad at her and noted that it wasn’t her fault that she was having to date other people.

Simon Saran has continued to share videos and photos of himself and Farrah Abraham together and days ago, after a romantic trip to Jamaica for Abraham’s 26th birthday, the couple traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate the birthday of a friend.

During their trip to Sin City, Saran posted a video of Farrah Abraham kissing him and quickly sparked rumors of a reconciliation yet again. However, a short time later, Saran suggested that they were unable to make their relationship official due to Farrah Abraham’s upcoming role on her new dating series.

“Unfortunately She needs to be single right now because MTV is trying really hard to push her dating show,” he explained.

He also added that while his situation with Farrah Abraham wasn’t ideal, there is some good that comes out of Abraham’s gigs with MTV.

“A lot of people rely on her especially the network for ratings. Creates more jobs so there’s some good out of it,” he said.

While Simon Saran continues to speak of his relationship with Farrah Abraham on Twitter and Instagram, Abraham has been a bit less open about what is going on between them. She’s also said many times that she and Saran are no longer together, despite their frequent outings and trips with one another.

Farrah Abraham first announced her new dating series earlier this month while celebrating her birthday in New York City at Beautique restaurant. At the same time, she again claimed she and Saran weren’t involved in a romance.

“We’re not together,” Farrah Abraham explained to Us Weekly magazine last week. “I think people just got confused by me celebrating my birthday also in Jamaica which, oh well, I had a romantic dinner! B***hes were jealous!”

“I hope I find [love] this summer,” Abraham said, citing her new series. “The new show is called Love Socially. It’s based with MTV UK and International, so a division of Teen Mom. [It will be filmed] in Australia, London and four other countries with four other celebrities.”

Days later, Starcasm offered a production description from the upcoming series.

“Hugely ambitious and ground breaking series for MTV,” the description read. “[Six] celebrities search worldwide for their ideal date/partner via the power of social media. Who knows where the celebrities will end up? Will they find love? All the dates return to a fixed rig house, will they find ‘the one.'”
